The issue

MODELS WITH LEFT HAND STEERING AND 9QC3239-P3 PITMAN ARM. THE PITMAN ARM INVOLVED WAS MANUFACTURED WITH TIMING MARK AND SERRATIONS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 8 DEGREES OUT OF POSITION. WITH CHASSIS RAISED TO MAXIMUM CONDITION AND WHEELS SUSPENDED OR DROPPED INTO DEEP HOLE, THE PITMAN ARM AND DRAG LINK CAN GO INTO TOGGLE POSITION, THUS LOCKING STEERING.

Ce bras de commande a été fabriqué avec un décalage d'environ 8 de la marque repère et des dentures. Quand le châssis est soulevé au maximum et que les roues pendent ou quand les roues tombent dans un trou profond, l'articulation du bras de commande avec la biellette de direction est forcée et la direction se bloque.
