The issue
On certain vehicles equipped with 5.7 L diesel engines. Under certain conditions the governor weight retainer in the injection pump may fail and the throttle valve could stick preventing engine shut down. This could result in loss of vehicle control.

Sur certains véhicules, le dispositif de retenue des masselottes du régulateur de la pompe à injection peuvent se briser, causant le coincement de la soupape d'accélération et empêchant l'arrêt du moteur. Cela peut entraîner une perte de maîtrise du véhicule.
