The issue

4X4 VEHICLES ONLY. THE FRONT SUSPENSION ATTACHMENT STUDS USED TO ATTACH THE FRONT COIL SPRINGS TO THE FRONT AXLE AND RADIUS ARMS MAY NOT MEET HARDNESS SPECIFICATIONS. THESE STUDS MAY HAVE BEEN FRACTURED DURING VEHICLE ASSEMBLY OR MAY FRACTURE IN SERVICE RESULTING IN ADVERSLY AFFECTED STEERING CONTROL OR RUPTURE OF A FRONT BRAKE HOSE WITH ASSOCIATED LOSS OF FRONT WHEEL BRAKING.

Les goujons de la suspension avant, qui servent à fixer les ressorts hélicoidaux à l'arbre avant et au bras de suspension, peuvent ne pas avoir la dureté imposée. Ces goujons peuvent avoir été brisés pendant le montage du véhicule ou peuvent se rompre en cours d'utilisation, ce qui altère la maîtrise du volant ou provoque la rupture d'un flexible de frein avant, d'où perte du freinage avant.
