The issue

VEHICLES MAY HAVE A DEFORMED INNER HOOD PANEL WHICH COULD CAUSE MISALIGNMENT OF THE SECONDARY HOOD LATCH. A MISALIGNED SECONDARY LATCH MAY HAVE INSUFFICIENT ENGAGEMENT, AND IN THE EVENT THAT THE PRIMARY HOOD LATCH WAS NOT ENGAGED, COULD NOT PREVENT THE HOOD FROM OPENING DURING HIGH SPEED DRIVING.

Le panneau intérieur du capot de ces véhicules peut être déformé ce qui peut entraîner un mauvais alignement du verrou secondaire du capot. S'il est mal aligné, le verrou secondaire peut ne pas accrocher et, au cas où le verrou principal était resté ouvert, ne pas empêcher le capot de s'ouvrir à haute vitesse.
