The issue

On certain vehicles, the left side driveshaft could develop a crack at the boot locator groove. During high speed stress situations such as rapid acceleration or deceleration the shaft could break causing a sudden loss of power.

Sur certains véhicules, l'arbre d'entraînement gauche peut se fissurer à partir de la rainure inférieure de calage. Sous l'effet d'une forte contrainte à grande vitesse, comme lors d'une accélération ou d'une décélération rapides, l'arbre d'entraînement peut se briser et entraîner une perte brusque de puissance motrice.
