The issue

THE SPRING CLAMP ON THE FLEXIBLE FUEL HOSE CONNECTING THE FUEL PUMP TO THE METAL FUEL LINE MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY POSITIONED OVER THE FUEL PUMP INLET NIPPLE. IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE HOSE COULD SEPARATE FROM THE FUEL PUMP AND FUEL SPILLAGE COULD OCCUR PRESENTING THE POSSIBILITY OF FIRE. VEHICLES AFFECTED: EQUIPPED WITH 5 LITRE AND 5.8 LITRE ENGINES BRONCO II'S ARE NOT INVOLVED.

La bride à ressort fixant le tuyau souple de raccordement de la canalisation rigide à la pompe d'alimentation peut ne pas avoir été correctement montée sur l'embout d'entrée de la pompe. En cas d'adcident, le tuyau souple peut se détacher de la pompe; le carburant peut alors se répandre et provoquer un incendie.
