The issue
On certain trucks equipped with the combination of bendix master cylinder and bendix handrovac frame mounted brake booster, air may be drawn into the brake system past the various seals. Air in the brake system could cause a loss of braking ability and result in vehicle crash without prior warning.

Sur certains camions équipés de la combinaison maître-cylindre Bendix et boîtier d'assistance Bendix hydrovac monté sur châssis, l'air peut pénétrer dans le circuit de freinage par les différents joints d'étanchéité. La présence d'air dans le circuit de freinage entraîne l'affaiblissement de la capacité de freinage et augmente les possibilités d'accidents.
