The issue
VEHICLES WERE ASSEMBLED WITH INADEQUATE CLAMP LOAD ON THE TIE ROD ADJUSTER. THIS WOULD ALLOW THE TIE ROD TO LOOSEN AND SEPARATE FROM THE TIE ROD ADJUSTER. TIE ROD SEPARATION COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL WHICH COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
Description (français)
La vis de serrage du raccord de réglage de la barre d'accouplement a été nul serrée lors du montage de ces véhicules. La barre peut alors se séparer du raccord et entraîner une perte de maîtrise de la direction et un accident.
