The issue
VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE PERFORATION OF THE FUEL PUMP DIAPHRAM. A PERFORATED DIAPHRAM CAN ALLOW FUEL TO LEAK FROM THE FUEL PUMP INTO THE UNDERHOOD AREA. THIS COULD RESULT IN AN UNDERHOOD FIRE WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. SUCH A FIRE COULD, IN TIME, SPREAD TO THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. CORRECTION: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A FUEL PUMP VENT KIT ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.
