The issue

On certain motorcycles, the lower part (eyelet) of the spring/damper unit which attaches to the rear drive unit, could crack. In extreme circumstances, the spring/damper could detach from the rear drive allowing the rear of the motorcycle to drop onto the rear tire, causing a drag on the tire and possible unstable vehicle handling. Correction: Spring/damper lower eyelet will be replace with a streghtened eyelet.

Sur certaines motocyclette, l'oeil de l'amortisseur fixé à l'essieu arrière peut se fissurer. Dans des conditions extrêmes, l'amortisseur risque de se détacher de l'essieu. L'arrière de la motocyclette s'appuiera alors sur le pneu arrière, ce qui risque de rendre le véhicule instable.
