The issue
PINTLE BODY CHEMISTRY AND HEAT TREAT PROBLEM RESULTS IN DECREASED PINTLE HORN STRENGTH. DECREASED STRENGTH IN THE PINTLE HORN COULD RESULT IN SEPARATION OF THE TRAILER AND TOWING UNIT. THIS COULD RESULT IN A CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: PINTLE HOOKS WILL BE REPLACED WITH ONES OF KNOWN CHEMISTRY AND HEAT TREATMENT. PINTLE HOOK MODEL NUMBERS - PH-300, PH300-1, PH300-R AND PH300-R-1.
