The issue
THE STEERING INPUT SHAFT YOKE PINCH BOLTS ON THESE VEHICLES HAVE BEEN FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE AND IN SOME CASES, MISSING. IF THE PINCH BOLT IS DEFECTIVE OR MISSING, LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL COULD RESULT, LEADING TO A POSSIBLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND CORRECT PINCH BOLTS WILL BE INSTALLED.

On a constaté que les boulons de serrage de la fourchette de l'arbre de commande de direction de ces véhicules sont défectueux et, dans certains cas, manquants. Dans l'un ou l'autre des cas, il pourrait en résulter une perte de maîtrise de la direction et un accident imprévisible.
