The issue
NOTE: THESE VEHICLES BUILT ON CADILLAC, BUICK AND OLDSMOBILE CHASSIS. REAR AXLE STRESS CRACKS ON THESE VEHICLES COULD ALLOW THE MOUNTING BRACKETS TO BREAK AWAY FROM THE SUBFRAME CAUSING THE REAR AXLE ASSEMBLY TO COLLAPSE. THIS COULD RESULT IN ABNORMAL HANDLING AND A POSSIBLE CRASH. CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND REPAIRED IF NECESSARY. ALL VEHICLES WILL HAVE SUBFRAME REINFORCED.

Des fissures de contrainte sur l'essieu arrière de ces véhicules peuvent entraîner le bris des supports de montage du faux-cadre, ce qui ferait s'effondrer l'essieu arrière. Une telle éventualité peut rendre la conduite difficile et entraîner un accident.
