The issue

CERTAIN UNDER-HOOD HOSE AND TUBING COMPONENTS (PRIMARILY COOLANT HOSES) CAN FAIL. UNINTENDED RELEASE OF FLUIDS SUCH AS ENGINE COOLANT, WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID, AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID CAN LEAD TO CONDITIONS WHICH CAN CAUSE A VEHICLE FIRE. CORRECTION: A SERIES OF MODIFICATIONS WILL BE MADE TO SEVERAL UNDER-HOOD COMPONENTS TO ELIMINATE THE RELEASE OF SUCH FLUIDS AND IMPROVE THE VEHICLE'S RESISTANCE TO UNDER-HOOD FIRE.

Il se peut que certains tuyaux flexibles et certains tubes du compartiment moteur, particulièrement des tuyaux du circuit de refroidissement, fassent défaut. Le déversement accidentel de fluides tels que le liquide de refroidissement, le liquide lave-glace et l’huile de transmission automatique peut engendrer des situations qui représentent des risques d’incendie.Correction : On devra modifier plusieurs composants du compartiment moteur pour éviter les déversements de liquides et améliorer la sécurité incendie du véhicule.
