The issue

Certain vehicles do not comply with CMVSS 205 - glazing materials. The windshields on were produced without the "AS1" mark as required by American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z26.1. These windshields fully meet all of the requirements of Standard 205. Correction: Since the absence of the AS1 mark is highly unlikely to produce any risk of injury, no corrective action will be taken.

Certains véhicules ne satisfont pas aux exigences de la NSVAC 205 – Vitrages.Les pare-brise de ces véhicules ne portent pas la marque « AS1 » requise par la norme Z26.1 de l’American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Par contre, ces pare-brise satisfont pleinement aux exigences de la norme 205. Correction : Puisque l’absence de la marque AS1 ne fait courir aucun risque de blessure, nulle correction n’est requise.
