The issue

On certain vehicles, the inner shaft splines may not have been machined deep enough (length wise) creating a gap between the governor cap damper and the inner shaft end. This may result in clutch fragmentation at high speeds, creating the risk of personal injury. Correction: Inner shaft will be replaced on affected vehicles.

Sur certains véhicules, il se peut que les cannelures de l’arbre intérieur ne soient pas assez profondes (dans le sens de la longueur) et qu’il y ait un écart entre l’amortisseur du capuchon du régulateur et la fin de l’arbre intérieur. Il se pourrait alors que l’embrayage se désagrège à haute vitesse et que quelqu’un soit blessé par les fragments. Correction : L’arbre intérieur devra être remplacé sur les véhicules visés.
