The issue
On certain snowmobiles, washers may be missing under the steering rack. If the washers are missing the steering rack could drop down, which may result in loss of steering control. Correction: Vehicles will be inspected for missing washers under the head of the bolts that hold the steering rack to the idler arm and pitman arm and washers will be installed where necessary.

Sur certaines motoneiges, il se peut que l’on n’ait pas posé toutes les rondelles sous la crémaillère de direction. Si c’est le cas, la crémaillère peut s’affaisser, ce qui peut faire perdre au pilote la maîtrise de son véhicule. Correction : Les véhicules devront être inspectés pour voir si toutes les rondelles ont été posées sous les boulons qui retiennent le bras et le levier de commande de la direction et des rondelles devront être posées le cas échéant.
