The issue
On certain trailers, prolonged heavy use can result in structural cracking of the mainframe directly behind the fifth wheel hitch attachment. This could cause the hitch to move out of position resulting in possible trailer detachment and a crash. Correction: Gussets will be installed to reinforce the mainframe at the point of possible failure.

Sur certaines remorques, un usage intensif prolongé peut donner lieu à la formation de fissures structurales dans le châssis principal, immédiatement derrière le pivot d’attelage. Il se pourrait alors que le pivot se déplace et que la remorque se détache et fasse une embardée. Correction : Des goussets devront être installés pour renforcer le châssis principal au point de défaillance possible.
