The issue

On certain vehicles, the right front brake line attachment to the ABS hydraulic control unit (HCU) may separate from the HCU. This may be due to an incorrect seat angle on the flare nut that is part of the brake line assembly. If this occurs, it could result in a loss of brake pressure to the front wheels and increased stopping distances which could in turn result in a vehicle crash. Correction: The flare nut on the brake line will be replaced with the correct nut.

Sur certains véhicules, le raccord entre la canalisation du frein avant droit et le bloc de commande hydraulique du système ABS peut se détacher parce que la portée angulaire de l’écrou évasé faisant partie de la canalisation de freinage est inexacte. Si c’est le cas, il peut y avoir perte de pression de freinage aux roues avant et augmentation des distances d’arrêt, ce qui risque de provoquer un accident. Correction : L’écrou évasé de la canalisation de freinage devra être remplacé.
