The issue

On certain vehicles, a damaged alternator diode may result in diode failure and a short circuit in the diode assembly. This could result in melting of the plastic housing and a possible alternator fire. Correction: Alternator will be replaced.

Sur certains véhicules, il se peut qu’une diode d’alternateur endommagée fasse défaut et qu’un court-circuit s’ensuive, ce qui peut faire fondre le boîtier en plastique de l’alternateur et causer un incendie. Correction : L’alternateur devra être remplacé.
