The issue

On certain vehicles, the power steering pump pulley may fail resulting in a loss of steering power assist as well as the water pump, alternator and air conditioning. Loss of power steering would result in a requirement for increased steering effort and could in turn result in a vehicle crash. Correction: Power steering pump pulley will be replaced with a redesigned pulley.

Sur certains véhicules, il se peut que la poulie de la pompe de servo-direction fasse défaut et qu’en conséquence la servo-direction, la pompe à eau, l’alternateur et la climatisation tombent en panne. Si la servo-direction tombe en panne, le conducteur devra faire un effort additionnel pour actionner le volant, ce qui risque de causer un accident. Correction : La poulie de la pompe de servo-direction devra être remplacée par une pièce de conception nouvelle.
