The issue

On certain vehicles, the throttle cable may bind due to misalignment with the fuel pump lever. This could cause the throttle not to return to the idle position when the accelerator pedal is released. Correction: Cable bracket will be realigned and the throttle cable and ball joint will be inspected and replaced if necessary.

Sur certains véhicules, le câble d’accélérateur peut s’accrocher parce que le support du câble est mal aligné avec le levier de la pompe à carburant. Il se peut alors que le levier ne retourne pas à la position de ralenti quand on cesse d’appuyer sur l’accélérateur. Correction : L’alignement du support du câble d’accélérateur devra être refait; le câble et le joint à rotule devront être inspectés et remplacés le cas échéant.
