The issue
Certain motorhomes can experience generator exhaust gases seeping into the vehicle interior due to the positioning of the generator exhaust pipe beneath an extended slide out room. Penetration of generator exhaust gases into the motorhome can cause carbon monoxide poisoning to occupants. Correction: A new generator exhaust pipe will be installed which is designed to terminate at a location other than under the extended slide out room.

Sur certains véhicules, il se peut que des gaz d’échappement s’infiltrent à l’intérieur parce que le tuyau d’échappement de la génératrice se trouve juste en-dessous de la pièce expansible. Une infiltration des gaz d’échappement de la génératrice à l’intérieur de la roulotte peut provoquer une intoxication des occupants au monoxyde de carbone. Correction : On devra ajouter un nouveau tuyau d’échappement qui se termine ailleurs que sous la pièce expansible.
