The issue

On certain vehicles, improper heat treatment during assembly could result in inadequate strength in certain areas of the rear axle shafts. After extended use of the vehicle, the rear axle shafts may fail or break. This could result in rear wheel separation and a possible crash without prior warning. Correction: Rear axle hub will be inspected and replaced if necessary.

Sur certains véhicules, due à un traitement thermique inapproprié durant l'assemblage, l'arbre d'essieu arrière n'a pas la résistance nécessaire à certains endroits. C'est ainsi qu'après une utilisation prolongée l'arbre peut faire défaut ou briser. Il se peut alors qu'une roue arrière se détache subitement et qu'un accident imprévisible s'ensuive. Correction : Les moyeux de l'essieu arrière devront être inspectés et remplacés s'il y a lieu.
