The issue

Certain vehicles may not have had the correct torque applied to the brake caliper mounting bolts. Incorrectly tightened bolts could work loose, placing the effectiveness of the braking system in jeopardy, increasing the risk of collision with the potential for injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Brake caliper mounting bolts will be inspected and correctly torqued if required.

Sur certains véhicules, il se peut que l'on n'ait pas utilisé le bon couple de serrage lors du montage des boulons sur les étriers de frein de ces véhicules. Des boulons mal serrés peuvent se desserrer, ce qui peut porter atteinte à l'efficacité du système de freinage, faire augmenter les risques d'accident et mettre la sécurité des occupants en jeu. Correction : Les boulons de montage des étriers de frein devront être inspectés et serrés correctement s'il y a lieu.
