The issue
On certain vehicles, the plastic ignition switch housing may fracture at the return spring anchor point. Fracture of the housing could cause the return spring force to be insufficient for returning the ignition key to the running position after starting the engine. This condition causes electrical accessories such as windshield wipers and headlights to become inoperative. Correction: Ignition switch will be replaced with a modified switch.

Sur certains véhicules, le boîtier en plastique du commutateur d'allumage peut être brisé au point d'ancrage du ressort de rappel. Il se peut alors que la force de rappel du ressort soit insuffisante pour ramener la clé de contact à la position de marche après le démarrage. Dans ce cas, certains accessoires électriques comme les essuie-glace et les phares deviennent inopérants. Correction : Le commutateur d'allumage devra être remplacé par une pièce de conception nouvelle.
