The issue
On certain motorcycles, the mounting hardware holding the seat to the rear fender could loosen due to the passenger's weight shifting on the seat. If the mounting hardware becomes loose enough to fall off, the seat can fall off the fender. A passenger on the motorcycle could lose balance and fall, causing serious injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the seat mounting hardware.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, le système qui fixe le siège sur le garde boue pourrait se desserrer à cause du déplacement du poids du passager sur le siège. Si le système de fixation se desserrait suffisamment pour tomber, le siège pourrait tomber du garde boue. Une personne assise sur la motocyclette pourrait perdre l'équilibre et tomber, ce qui pourrait la blesser gravement, et même la tuer. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le système de fixation du siège.
