The issue
Certain tires may contain an unidentified foreign material in the upper sidewall region of the tire. The presence of this material may precipitate the formation of small, isolated voids, which could result in early life loss of air pressure. An under-inflated condition will cause the tire to wear prematurely and result in early failure. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the tires.

Certains pneus peuvent contenir un matériau étranger non identifié dans la partie supérieure du flanc. La présence de ce matériau peut précipiter la formation de petits vides isolés qui peuvent causer une perte de pression d'air. Or, un pneu mal gonflé peut entraîner l'usure prématurée du pneu et provoquer une crevaison. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer les pneus visés.
