The issue

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. Specifically, the Tire and Loading Information placard contains incorrect cargo capacity information. The maximum cargo capacity listed on these placards may be higher than the actual cargo capacity of the vehicle. Overloading a vehicle could negatively affect its handling characteristics and may result in a crash. Correction: Utilimaster will mail updated Tire and Loading Information labels to owners of affected vehicles.

Certains véhicules ne satisfont pas aux exigences de la NSVAC 110 - Choix de pneus et de jantes. En particulier, la plaque informative concernant les pneus et la charge contient une information incorrecte concernant la capacité de chargement. La capacité de chargement maximale inscrite sur ces plaques pourrait être plus élevée que la capacité de chargement véritable du véhicule. Le fait de surcharger un véhicule pourrait affecter négativement son comportement et pourrait causer un accident. Correction : Utilimaster devra poster des étiquettes informatives portant sur les pneus et la charge mises à jour aux propriétaires des véhicules visés.
