The issue
On certain VL1500 Intruder and Boulevard C90 motorcycles, repeated stress around the right front fuel tank mounting point can cause a hairline crack to form due to metal fatigue. This can allow fuel seepage to occur. In the presence of an ignition source, seeped fuel can cause a fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the fuel tank.

Sur certaines motocyclettes VL1500 Intruder et Boulevard C90, une contrainte répétée autour du point de fixation avant droit du réservoir de carburant pourrait provoquer la formation d'une fissure capillaire à cause d'une fatigue du métal. Cela pourrait permettre à du carburant de suinter. En présence d'une source d'inflammation, un suintement de carburant pourrait causer un incendie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer le réservoir de carburant.
