The issue

On certain vehicles, there may be three possible air brake problems. 1) Due to improper installation of the parking brake chamber end cap, water may enter causing corrosion of the power spring, leading to spring failure. 2) Due to improper end cap attaching screw dimensions, water may enter causing corrosion of the power spring, leading to spring failure. 3) Due to improper tightening of the end cap attaching screw, water may enter causing corrosion of the power spring, leading to spring failure. Any of these problems could cause the parking brake to engage while the parking brake lever is in the released (off) position. Correction: Dealers will inspect and repair or replace as necessary.

Certains véhicules pourraient comporter trois problèmes de frein à air comprimé possibles : 1) à cause d'une pose inadéquate du capuchon d'extrémité de cavité de frein de stationnement, de l'eau pourrait s'infiltrer et faire corroder le ressort, ce qui causerait une défaillance du ressort, 2) à cause du fait que la vis de fixation de capuchon d'extrémité a des dimensions inadéquates, de l'eau pourrait s'infiltrer et faire corroder le ressort, ce qui causerait une défaillance du ressort, 3) à cause d'un serrage inadéquat de la vis de fixation de capuchon d'extrémité, de l'eau pourrait s'infiltrer et faire corroder le ressort, ce qui causerait une défaillance du ressort. N'importe lequel de ces problèmes pourrait faire en sorte que le frein de stationnement se serre au moment où le levier du frein de stationnement se trouve en position relâchée. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront effectuer une inspection et une réparation ou un remplacement au besoin.
