The issue
On certain motorhomes, the frame extension lower flange may crack allowing the hitch to bend down or fail. Hitch failure could allow the towed unit to separate from the towing vehicle. Correction: Dealers will install two pieces of angle steel; one to each side of the frame extension.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, la bride inférieure d'extension du châssis pourrait se fissurer, ce qui permettrait à l'attelage de plier vers le bas ou de faire défaut. Une défaillance d'attelage pourrait permettre à l'unité remorquée de se détacher du véhicule tracteur. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser deux cornières en acier, une de chaque côté de l'extension du châssis.
