The issue

On certain vehicles, the electric cooling fan control unit's metal cover may not have received the specified corrosion protection during manufacturing process. Moisture ingress as a result of cover corrosion could lead to an electrical short that may initiate an engine compartment fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the cooling fan.

Sur certains véhicules, le dispositif de recouvrement métallique de l'unité de commande du ventilateur de refroidissement électrique pourrait ne pas avoir reçu la protection spécifiée contre la corrosion pendant le processus de fabrication. Une infiltration d'humidité découlant d'une corrosion du dispositif de recouvrement pourrait causer un court circuit qui pourrait engendrer un incendie dans le compartiment moteur. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le ventilateur de refroidissement.
