The issue

On certain motorcycles, the chain slider guard mounting bolts may become loose and fall out. If this were to occur, the chain slider guard could become caught in the drive chain and cause a crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will apply thread-locking compound and torque the mounting bolts to specs.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, les boulons de fixation du protecteur de la glissière de la chaîne pourraient se desserrer et tomber. Si cela se produisait, le protecteur de la glissière de la chaîne pourrait se coincer dans la chaîne et causer un accident blessant quelqu'un ou entraînant des pertes de vie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront appliquer un produit qui verrouille les filets et serrer les boulons de fixation conformément aux spécifications.
