The issue

On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers equipped with a Suburban three burner gas range, the oven thermostat control valve may have been manufactured with incorrect internal tolerances. This can allow gas flow to the oven burner when the oven control knob is pushed in while not fully in the correct position to light the pilot. Although the gas flow is significantly reduced from the full burner rate, if the oven control knob is depressed for some time before attempting to ignite the pilot light, the excess gas in the oven could cause a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the oven thermostat control valve.

Sur certaines caravanes classiques et roulottes à sellette équipées d'une cuisinière à gaz à trois brûleurs Suburban, le robinet de commande du thermostat du four pourrait avoir été fabriquée avec des tolérances internes incorrectes. Cela pourrait permettre au gaz de se rendre jusqu'au brûleur du four lorsque le bouton de commande du four est enfoncé, mais pas entièrement dans la bonne position pour allumer la veilleuse. Bien que le débit du gaz soit réduit de façon importante par rapport à la position maximale (brûleur), si le bouton de commande du four est enfoncé pendant un certain temps avant que l'on tente d'allumer la veilleuse, le gaz excédentaire se trouvant dans le four pourrait causer un incendie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le robinet de commande du thermostat du four.
