The issue

On certain vehicles, the steering column may have been manufactured incorrectly. Two welds may have been omitted, which could cause the column to fail, possibly leading to a loss of steering control and a crash without warning. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace columns with missing welds.

Sur certains véhicules, la colonne de direction peut avoir été mal fabriquée. Deux soudures pourraient avoir été omises, ce qui pourrait provoquer le bris de la colonne de direction, ce pourrait entraîner la perte de contrôle de la direction et causer un accident sans avertissement. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et remplacer toute colonne de direction avec deux soudures absentes.
