The issue
Certain vehicles fail to comply with CMVSS 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. The tire placard overstates the actual weight capacity. Loading a vehicle beyond it's capacity may result in poor vehicle handling characteristics, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Owners will be provided with updated labels and installation instructions.

Certains véhicules ne satisfont pas aux exigences de la NSVAC 110 - Choix des pneumatiques et des jantes. L'étiquette concernant les pneus exagère la capacité actuelle en matière de poids. Le fait de charger un véhicule au delà de sa capacité pourrait nuire à son comportement routier, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'accident. Correction : On devra fournir aux propriétaires des instructions de pose et des étiquettes à jour.
