The issue

On certain vehicles, the C-pillar trim cover clips do not provide adequate retention. In the event of a deployment of the rear pyrotechnic safety belt, the C-pillar trim cover may become detached from the sheet metal due to low retention force of the trim clip. The detached trim cover could pose a risk of personal injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will install an improved clip.

Sur certains véhicules, les dispositifs de fixation des garnitures des montants arrière n'offrent pas une retenue adéquate. En cas de déploiement de la ceinture de sécurité pyrotechnique arrière, la garniture des montants arrière pourrait se détacher de la tôle à cause d'une faible force de retenue du dispositif de fixation de garniture. Une garniture détachée risque de blesser les occupants du véhicule. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un dispositif de fixation amélioré.
