The issue
On certain vehicles, the fasteners that attach the steering arm or tie rod arm to the spindle may have been over or under tightened during assembly process. Incorrectly torqued steering arm fasteners may fatigue and fracture, possibly causing a crash without warning. Correction: Dealers will inspect fasteners and apply correct tightening torque.

Sur certains véhicules, les dispositifs qui fixent la bielle de commande de direction ou le bras de barre d'accouplement à la fusée pourraient avoir été trop ou pas assez serrés pendant le montage. Des dispositifs de fixation de bielle de commande de direction incorrectement serrés pourraient s'user et se briser, ce qui pourrait causer un accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les dispositifs de fixation et les serrer au bon couple.
