The issue

On certain Ram 2500/3500 pickup trucks equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine, a silencer pad may sag and contact the exhaust gas recirculation cooler, which could result in an engine compartment fire. Correction: Dealers will install a bracket to support the silencer pad.

Sur certaines camionnettes Ram 2500/3500 munies d’un moteur diesel de 6,7 L, un tampon d’insonorisation pourrait amollir et entrer en contact avec le refroidisseur de gaz d’échappement réaspirés, ce qui pourrait provoquer un incendie dans le compartiment moteur. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un support pour soutenir le tampon d’insonorisation.
