The issue
On certain motorcycles the shift linkage may break. Should this occur, it would hamper the ability of the rider to shift gears which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the shift linkage with an updated version.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, la tringlerie de changement de rapport pourrait se briser. Si cela se produisait, cela nuirait au passage des rapports par le pilote, et, conjointement à la densité de la circulation, à l'état de la route et aux réactions du pilote, pourrait augmenter le risque d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la tringlerie de passage des rapports par une tringlerie à jour.
