The issue
On certain scooters, the fuel hose located between the fuel pump and the fuel filter may have been improperly fastened during vehicle assembly. A loose connection could cause a drop in, or loss of, fuel pressure to the engine. Engine stalling would result in lost propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the section of fuel hose between the fuel pump and fuel filter.

Sur certains scooters, le tuyau de carburant situé entre la pompe à carburant et le filtre à carburant pourrait avoir été mal serré pendant le montage du véhicule. Un raccord desserré pourrait causer une chute ou une perte de la pression de carburant vers le moteur. Si le moteur calait, cela entraînerait une perte de propulsion qui, conjointement à la densité de la circulation, à l'état de la route et aux réactions du pilote, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la section de tuyau de carburant qui se trouve entre la pompe et le filtre à carburant.
