The issue

On certain fire trucks, the aluminium cab floor substructure may contact the positive post of the battery. This could cause an electrical arc between the cab and battery, which could create a shock hazard or a risk of fire, causing cause property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install a spacer between the battery tray and the forward wall of the battery box.

Sur certains camions de pompiers, la sous-structure de plancher de cabine en aluminium pourrait toucher à la borne positive de la batterie. Cela pourrait produire un arc électrique entre la cabine et la batterie, ce qui pourrait produire un choc électrique ou un incendie et endommager des biens matériels, blesser quelqu'un ou entraîner des pertes de vies. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser une cale entre le plateau de la batterie et la paroi avant du bac d'accumulateur.
