The issue

Certain infant seats may not lock properly in position when the seat is installed onto the removable base. The seat will latch into the base but it may not fully lock. In the event of a collision, should the seat not be fully locked into the base, the seat could separate from the base and result in personal injury or death. Correction: Dorel will notify its customers and provide a repair kit with a tool to be used to change the springs.

Certains sièges pour enfant pourraient ne pas se verrouiller adéquatement en position lors de la pose du siège sur la base amovible. Le siège se fixera sur la base, mais il pourrait ne pas se verrouiller entièrement. En cas de collision, si le siège n'était pas entièrement verrouillé sur la base, il pourrait se détacher et blesser quelqu'un ou entraîner des pertes de vies. Correction : Dorel devra avertir ses clients et leur fournir une trousse de réparation avec un outil servant à remplacer les ressorts.
