The issue

On certain motorhomes built on a Spartan chassis, the adjustable brake pedal arm may loosen, rotate around its shaft, and swing in front of the accelerator pedal. Should the brake pedal arm contact and engage the accelerator pedal, it could result in extended stopping distances and a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install a C-clamp assembly to the brake pedal arm.

Sur certaines autocaravanes munies d'un châssis Spartan, le levier réglable de la pédale de freinage pourrait se desserrer, pivoter sur son arbre et se retrouver devant l'accélérateur. Si le levier de la pédale de freinage enfonçait l'accélérateur, cela pourrait augmenter les distances de freinage, causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels, blesser quelqu'un ou entraîner des pertes de vies. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront installer une bride en C sur le levier de pédale de frein.
