The issue
Kongsberg Power Products Systems I, Inc., (KPPS) is submiting this notice of defect on behalf of Monaco Coach regarding certain motorhomes equipped with an adjustable brake pedal assembly. The brake pedal arm may loosen, rotate around its shaft, and swing in front of the accelerator pedal. Should the brake pedal arm contact and engage the accelerator pedal, it could result in extended stopping distances and a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: KPPS will provide a clamp assembly kit along with installation instructions.

L'entreprise Kongsberg Power Products Systems I, Inc., (KPPS) a déposé cet avis de défaut envers certaines autocaravanes fabriquer par Monaco Coach, et doter d’un system de pédale de freinage ajustable. Le levier réglable de la pédale de freinage pourrait se desserrer, pivoter sur son arbre et se retrouver devant l'accélérateur. Si le levier de la pédale de freinage enfonçait l'accélérateur, cela pourrait augmenter les distances de freinage, causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels, blesser quelqu'un ou entraîner des pertes de vies. Correction : KPPS devra fournir un ensemble de réparation et des instructions.
