The issue

On certain trucks, water intrusion in the ignition relay may result in corrosion, causing a potential short-circuit and failure of the relay. Failure of the relay could cause an engine shut down without prior warning or create a situation where the vehicle cannot be started. This failure may affect the control of the vehicle, resulting in the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the ignition relay.

Sur certains camions, des infiltrations d'eau dans le relais d'allumage peuvent entraîner de la corrosion qui peut faire court-circuiter le relais et le faire tomber en panne. Une panne du relais peut entraîner un arrêt subit du moteur ou l'empêcher de démarrer, et nuire à la conduite du véhicule, augmentant ainsi les risques d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le relais d’allumage.
