The issue

On certain vehicles, due to a manufacturing process fault, the fuel pump was not produced to specifications. As a result, under specific vehicle operating conditions, the fuel pump's commutator could experience an increase in wear which could lead to a malfunction of the fuel pump. Ultimately, vehicle stalling could occur, which in conjunction with traffic, road conditions, and driver's reactions, increases the risk of a vehicle crash causing property damage, or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel pump.

Sur certains véhicules, à cause d'un problème dans le processus de fabrication, la pompe à carburant n'a pas été fabriquée selon les spécifications. En conséquence, dans des conditions de fonctionnement spécifiques du véhicule, le commutateur de la pompe à carburant pourrait s'user davantage, ce qui pourrait mener à un mauvais fonctionnement de la pompe à carburant. Le moteur du véhicule pourrait caler, ce qui, conjointement à la densité de la circulation, à l'état de la route et aux réactions du conducteur, augmente les risques d'accident pouvant endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la pompe à carburant.
