The issue
On certain travel trailers, the bottom leaf of the leaf springs may rotate out of position and contact a tire. This could cause the tire to burst without warning, which could lead to a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install two square "U" bolts and a retaining plate (that will be centered on the spring center bolt) to restrain the lower spring leaf.

Sur certaines caravanes classiques, la lame inférieure du ressort à lames pourrait pivoter et sortir de son logement et entrer en contact avec le pneu. Cela pourrait faire éclater le pneu de façon inattendue, faire perdre le contrôle du véhicule et causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent installer deux boulons carrés en U et une plaque d'arrêt (laquelle sera centrée sur le boulon central du ressort) afin de retenir la lame de ressort inférieure.
