The issue

Certain motorhomes may not have adequate clearance between the driver-side rear suspension leaf spring and the Liquid Propane (LP) tank. As the suspension travels the leaf spring shackle bolt may contact the LP tank, causing damage which could result in a propane gas leak. A propane gas leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire or an explosion, which could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Since Fleetwood Enterprises Inc (the manufacturer of these vehicles) is no longer in business, Fleetwood RV (a new company) is supplying vehicle owners with this courtesy notice. Owners are advised to have their vehicle inspected and repaired as soon as possible. Since Fleetwood RV did not manufacture these units, they will not assume financial responsibility for the repairs. However, they offer to provide the owner's preferred service facility with technical support, in the event they should require it. Fleetwood RV can be reached at 1-800-509-3418.

Certaines autocaravanes pourraient ne pas avoir un dégagement adéquat entre le ressort à lames de suspension arrière du côté du conducteur et le réservoir de propane liquide (PL). Lorsque la suspension se débat, le boulon des attaches des ressorts à lames pourrait toucher au réservoir de PL, ce qui causerait des dommages qui pourraient provoquer une fuite de gaz propane. Une fuite de gaz propane, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, pourrait causer un incendie ou une explosion, ce qui pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Comme Fleetwood Enterprises Inc (le fabricant de ces véhicules) n'est plus en affaires, Fleetwood RV (une nouvelle entreprise) s'occupe du présent rappel. On avise les propriétaires de faire inspecter et réparer leur véhicule dès que possible. Comme Fleetwood RV n'a pas fabriqué ces unités, l'entreprise ne paiera pas pour les réparations.
